Surfactants are critical ingredients in a wide variety of applications including cleaning products, paints, coatings, inks emulsions and personal care products. Elevance produces olefins and esters, two categories of products critical to surfactant production. The Elevance technology provides both a novel route to olefins and esters currently used in surfactants in large quantities, as well as unique olefin and ester products that enable new functionality.   Conversations are taking place with leading surfactant producers to determine how to best partner to take advantage of both the existing and new products from Elevance's technology.
