Elevance's technology enables the production of novel diacids and difunctional monomers. Approximately $500 MM of long chain (>C9) Di-carboxylic acids (diacids) are used in producing nylon, coatings, adhesives, greases, polyesters, dyestuffs, detergents, flame retardants, and fragrances due to their unique functionality and performance properties. Elevance's products will enable customers to benefit from additional performance characteristics that cannot be obtained from existing diacids and monomers.
