One of the key ingredients in detergent and cleaner formulations are surfactants. Major end customers are seeking new surfactants with improved performance, including improved cold temperature performance and more concentrated formulations as well as better sustainability and environmental positions.

With our alpha and internal olefins, oleochemicals, modified triglycerides and novel esters, Elevance provides a renewable source of raw materials that fit within a wide range of surfactant performance and cost requirements for the manufacture of surfactants.

Elevance is establishing agreements with leading surfactant suppliers to screen and develop surfactants based on our nature-based products. Our partnership with the Stepan Company, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of surfactants is already engaged in this effort.
