Renewable Chemicals Experts Discuss Industry Growth, Trends and Opportunities

Leadership from Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc. will share their expertise in the renewable chemicals industry during the BIO World Congress, taking place July 19-22 in Montreal. K’Lynne Johnson, CEO of Elevance, will provide insight into the question “How can industrial biotechnology thrive in the global economic crisis?” during the opening lunch plenary session. She will join a panel of experts and brings a unique perspective as the CEO of a company that is using innovation to accelerate growth despite the recent economic downturn.
Andy Shafer, executive vice president of sales and market development for Elevance, and Mike Tupy, director, technical development, will also present during the four-day congress. Shafer will speak on the panel titled “Business Models for a Successful BioEconomy,” and will specifically discuss the acceleration of business development through collaboration and partnership. Tupy will speak on a panel titled “Biorenewable Chemicals: Multi-Product Production Pathways” and will discuss how chemical catalysts can be used to produce platform chemicals from renewable resources.
