Low Capital Expenditures (Capex), & Large Scale Platform

The Elevance biorefinery produces multiple high values chemicals and advanced biofuels streams, similar to petroleum based refineries. However, our biorefinery manufacturing pathway enables significant reduction of chemical manufacturing cost through scale. Using relatively capex-light stills/reactors rather than the massive chemical facilities currently utilized to produce traditional petrochemicals. Even greater cost efficiency is achieved through the retrofit or repurposing of existing biodiesel plants.

Smaller Environmental Footprint

Our cleantech catalytic processes are low pressure and low temperature, yielding low toxicity products and byproducts and making manufacturing materially easier to permit.
