Credit and Risk Manager

Position Summary:  This challenging role will require an analytical, talented and business savvy risk manager who is qualified to build and apply decision support tools to assess the firm's exposure to a variety of risks, including:

• Customer credit issues
• Insurable risks and appropriate insurance coverage/cost
• Feedstock hedge management

This role will have exposure at all levels across the organization and will provide consultation to each line of business to ensure that credit, insurance and/or hedge rebalancing actions are taken consistent with the company’s overall strategic goals. We are seeking an MBA and/or CPA who has a solid understanding of corporate risk management issues and solutions.

This is a highly interactive role where excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected. The CFO’s organization is lean and expected to multi-task, which requires leadership capabilities and time management skills.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Assess customer credit worthiness and perform credit checks via DNBi, credit references, etc.
• Manage accounts receivables to meet collection goals on a weekly basis
• Provide consistent and timely customer reporting and communications to sales and customer service representatives
• Develop and maintain credit policy, hedging policy and insurance policy
• Working with the CFO, maintain relationships with DNBi, risk management service providers, and insurance companies

Required Qualifications Include:

• Bachelors required
• MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 5+ years of corporate risk management experience
• Ability to plan and execute projects
• Excellent communication skills(business writing & verbal), including presentations
• Solid analytical skills with an ability to statistically interpret data
• Strong Microsoft suite/computer skills;  Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains a plus
• Compensation:  Negotiable
